“Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood….”

                                                                                                                   Robert Frost

I looked down that road when it was time to decide what to do with my life.  I loved the arts; the challenge of creating beauty with my hands, my mind and my heart.  I loved the sciences; the excitement of exploring the secrets of man and nature.  I chose the second road.  While never regretting a choice that made me part of a team that saves lives, the arts continued to call with their siren song.  I sketched; I painted, I dabbled in the paper arts as a hobbyist. I learned lampworking and enjoyed making beads of glass. Then I discovered a new medium, precious metal clay, and the siren song beckoned again louder than ever.  The thrill of carving, sculpting and molding the clay and then firing it to create artwork that is virtually pure silver was a joy I had to experience.  Today I work with glass, silver and stone to create unique pieces of art jewelry with organic themes that celebrate my love of science and nature.
